Plant Hospital.

This is the Plant Hospital. This was a fully staffed hospital with an operating room. The principal mission of the hospital was the medical care of employees but was also available to family members for limited medical needs except obstetrics which the hospital was not staffed or equipped for.

The photo at the right was taken in the operating room in late 1951 when the Plant was reactivating for the Korean War. This was a state of the art facility at the time.
